June 8, 2013 marked the Annual City of Appleton Flag Day Parade, with Fox Vettes Annual participation in the event. John and Pat hosted the club participation. Pat hosted a brunch at his house and unexpected "car wash" from the Heavens before our departure to the staging area. After re-cleaning & decorating our Vettes we took our spot in the parade, which proceeded down Wisconsin (past the TV coverage of the event) and down sides streets to College Ave. to the City's Grand Marshall stand. The entire parade route was lines with thousands of people enjoying the event. Following the parade, we met Carol and Keith (who viewed the parade from the sidelines) at Waverly Beach for food and libations. A great time was had by all!!!
