Welcome to my SmugMug site. I hope you enjoy all the photos you see displayed. I am a fulltime Criminal Defense Lawyer, as well as an avid photographer. I especially love beach, landscape and sunset images. In addition to photography, my passions are Corvettes and Travel. Please keep checking back as I will be continually posting a wide variety of photos I have taken, covering many fields of interest. Should you find an image you really like, you can purchase that image and the site even offers products which the image can be applied to. It is my pleasure to have you viewing my images. Thanks for your time visiting the site, as I know there are many things in daily life to occupy your time, and boy- do the days seem too short. I have upgraded my camera from the Canon 40D, and am now shooting with the new Canon 5D Mark III. First images with the fantastic camera are the Chicago 2012 gallery. Enjoy your visit.

It is with heavy heart that I must inform you that my best friend, and trusted photographic companion, John David Manske, passed away 8/26/2012 at the young age of 52. John was a very talented photographer, as well as an engaging and wonderful person. Many of you visiting this site, met John and had your cars photographed by him. He will be missed by all! Rest in Peace John.

Appleton Flag Day Parade 2013 : June 8, 2013 marked the Annual City of Appleton Flag Day Parade, with Fox Vettes Annual participation in the event. John and Pat hosted the club participation. Pat hosted a brunch at his house and unexpected "car wash" from the Heavens before our departure to the staging area. After re-cleaning & decorating our Vettes we took our spot in the parade, which proceeded down Wisconsin (past the TV coverage of the event) and down sides streets to College Ave. to the City's Grand Marshall stand. The entire parade route was lines with thousands of people enjoying the event. Following the parade, we met Carol and Keith (who viewed the parade from the sidelines) at Waverly Beach for food and libations. A great time was had by all!!!

Fox Vettes First Cruise 2013 : On May 4, 2013, Brad & Kathy Wessley hosted Fox Vettes First Cruise of the 2013 cruise season. 21 Corvettes were treated to a wonderful cruise and beautiful. Roger and Carol showed all their beautiful new Corvette. A great time was had by all!

In Memory of John David Manske : Our accomplished photographer, and my best friend "John David Manske" passed away on 8/26/2012. He loved cars- "particularly British Cars" and his prized black TR7 spider. His death was untimely, at the young age of 52. He grew up and lived his whole life in Appleton, Wisconsin. He leaves a list of family and friends far too long to mention. I personally had the great fortune of having John as a "best friend" for the past 14 yrs.. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace John! PS- you will notice if you hit the "buy" button that there are many items that you can purchase to remember John by. Any and all profits from these sales will be donated to the memorial fund, being setup by the family in John's honor. The watermark is automatically removed from all items when you order. Thank you.

All Triumph Drive In - Forrest Grove OR. : Our photographer, John D. Manske made a special trip for us to the State of Oregon to cover this great British Car Event. Karl's Kustom Corvette Shop : Fox Vettes visited Karl's Custom Corvette Shop in Des Moines, Iowa. They transform c6 corvettes in 63 Vintage Corvettes with all the modern day conveniences we've grown accustom to. Karl's is also a partner with Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and also equip their custom vehicles with some wicked custom engines. If you look real hard the vette with the worker working on the front end is Lingenfelter's own custom vette. Then we were on to Star Brewing Co. in Des Moines and home.

Buddy Holly Tribute : Members from Fox Vettes made a special pilgrimage to Clear Lake, Iowa to visit Surf Ballroom where Buddy Holly and friends played their last show and then to visit the site outside of town where Buddy Holly's private plan crashed and all died. We parked our cars on the dirt road, leading up to the corn field where the plane went down and then hiked in 107 degree temperatures to the memorial site Enjoy!

Veterans Run Pearly Gates 2012 : The 7th Annual Pearly Gates Veteran's Run took place on Saturday July 14,2012. The images are a snapshot of the event. Ft. Myers Downtown Cruisin Apr 2012 : Car People are stout soles. Even after fairly heavy rains had come through the Ft. Myers area, and threatened to "wash out" monthly Downtown Cruisin event, the skies cleared and the cars came. Recovering from recent shoulder surgery, I forced myself to make and record this event, with the same determination that the car exhibitors showed. The show included a great showing from the Southwest Florida Corvette Club. Being a former President of Fox Vettes, of the Appleton Wisconsin area, it always brightens my sole, to meet other great Vette owners from other areas of the country. Webmaster Dan, Ron & Robin and Bob (formerly of the Milwaukee Wisconsin area), along with their other members were wonderful. I hope that you will enjoy the pictures of some really "sweet" vehicles. ENJOY!
